Ingredients
- 4 cups pretzel twists or sticks
- 3 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex cereal
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries or cherries
- 1 cup red, white, and blue M&M’s
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or candy melts
- 2 tablespoons red, white, and blue sprinkles
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pretzels, Chex cereal, mini marshmallows, and dried cranberries/cherries. Toss gently to distribute evenly.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips (or candy melts) in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and creamy. Be careful not to overheat.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the snack mix. Use a rubber spatula to gently fold and stir until most of the ingredients are lightly coated.
- Immediately spread the coated snack mix onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Sprinkle evenly with the red, white, and blue sprinkles.
- Allow the snack mix to cool completely and for the chocolate to set, about 30-60 minutes at room temperature, or 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Once set, break the snack mix into clusters and transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container. Enjoy your festive 4th of July treat!
